Kaziranga National Park was reopened to tourists by the Forest Minister Rockybul Hussain who asked everyone to extend their support for the park.
Every year Kaziranga national park in Assam is closed for tourists during the monsoon season. The park was reopened with a function followed by usual elephant and jeep safari tours.
Forest Minister Rockybul Hussain said that number of tourists visiting the park is increasing every year. Therefore its important that all individuals and organizations come together and support development of the park.
Several tourists both domestic and international were present at the reopening of the park. They enjoyed jeep tours through the park. In particular everyone enjoyed the prime attraction of the park, the one horn Rhinoceros. The park now will remain open till April ahead of the next monsoon season.
